Foundation License Courses

The Fisher's Ghost Amateur Radio Club Inc. has combined with Liverpool & Districts Amateur Radio Club (LADARC) to successfully conduct Foundation Licence Courses.

On the weekend of 30/31 May 2009 in conjunction with Liverpool and Districts Amateur Radio Club (LDARC)successfully conducted another Foundation Licence Course and Standard / Advanced Upgrade assessments weekend.Seven candidates obtained their Foundation Licence, two passed their Standard Regulations & Practical and one passed their Standard Theory.

Any one wishing to obtain their Amateur Radio Foundation Licence or Licence upgrade should contact Fisher's Ghost Amateur Radio Club Inc . learning organiser Chris Newton at vk2jcn@wia.org.au

The next Foundation Licence Course and Licence upgrade examinations is will be conducted when sufficient numbers of candidates have nominated.

 

Club meetings

The Club meets at 7:30 pm on the last Wednesday of the month upstairs in 'M' Block of Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, Beverley Rd. Campbelltown NSW. Visitors interested in learning more about the hobby of Amateur Radio are most welcome to attend.

JOTA

  The Club is committed to JOTA with at least two sites being operated from each year.

  As caretakers of the Amateur Radio station at Cataract Scout Park, the Club is currently preparing for the 22nd Australian Jamboree ( AJ2010) when approximately 12,000 Scouts      and  Leaders will be in attendance from 2 January to 15 January 2010.The Club will be operating for the Jamboree with the activation of a Special Event Callsign.
